This week’s post is going to be short and sweet! I’ve been pretty behind on watching trends for the last month. In fact, Friday I cleaned out my email, only to realize I had over a month of store and sale emails backed up in my “Promotions” tab on gmail! Sheesh…don’t EVER let your email get that backed up! Thousands and thousands of deleted emails later my Promotions Inbox is clear and I’m excited about one of my favorite fall trends, Mustard!
I’ve always been a fan of mustard. It’s a fun, bright fall color and I’m so excited to see it coming back strong this fall after a few falls of dark turquoise and burgundy! Here are some of my favorite mustard clothing items for fall!

My mustard obsession this year started with this mustard duster under $40. A quick search for more mustard clothing ended up introducing me to this gorgeous mustard lace top and this satin Henley (a little more yellow than mustard, but still just lovely!).

I agree on mustard being just the best for fall! I actually bought a mustard jacket recently and the fancy name they gave the color on the tag was ‘gold cumin’ which i thought sounded so rich! My favorite piece you picked is definitely the moto jacket. There’s no such thing as having too many of those!

“Gold cumin,” that is so funny, lol. I suppose that sounds more chic than “Mustard,” haha! I love the moto jacket too! I really want to take the plunge on that one but I keep thinking if I’m going to spend more $ on a moto jacket I should probably try one that’s a little more neutral. *sigh* but, I still put it on the inspiration board so that I can live vicariously through others who CAN buy it!
So fun to see mustard making waves again – I was all about it in 2009 and the few following years, and then slowly all the yellow pieces I’d collected made their way to the donate bin… But I do like that blouse a lot, maybe I could give mustard another try?

That was probably around when I was all about mustard too! I’ve been a closet mustard-lover for the last few years but it’s been hard to get new pieces when they’re not showing up in stores! I would definitely give it another try!
Mustard is so pretty! I love fall colors so much it’s hard to pick a favorite. If I had to choose, I think burgundy is my favorite!

I’ve always admired mustard on others but it was only this year I at least snagged a mustard cardi at the opshop. I wore it a lot after I thrifted it but the weather hasn’t been cold enough for it lately, I’m going to need more than just my mustard bag for spring and summer I think! If only it was cold enough for that suede jacket, it’s awesome.

I totally get that. The weather only JUST turned for us. Last week I was dying in the humidity and now I’m freezing in my classroom in the mornings! Last week I was trying to figure out what in the world to wear and how to feel like fall when I couldn’t bear to wear anything with sleeves! ha!
