My, my, what a busy few weeks it has been! Between school, church and a weekend getaway to Victoria (more about that next week!), things have been pretty crazy around here! When the sun was out last week I had to seize the day and take pictures, even if my husband couldn’t help me with them!
Today’s outfit was an experiment. I had seen some bloggers wearing white on white and some other bloggers wearing suede boots with white skinnies as a way to transition into the fall. It felt a little too white for me, so I added one of my fall favorites, a comfy Aztec Cardigan. I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. For me, it’s the perfect transitional outfit into fall – it pops against the beautiful oranges and reds of fall.

Cobalt Maxi and Teal (with a pop of gold!)

Today I have some color inspiration for you! I have gotten so many compliments on this outfit that I just had to share. I love the combo of the deep blue with the teal but it’s the necklace that really makes this outfit pop! Now that it’s fall, the deep colors are perfect! (see other ways I wore this necklace here and here.) It was a very windy day when we shot these pictures so don’t mind the hair flying everywhere!

I don’t know about you, but I love finding outfit inspiration on Pinterest. Today’s outfit is one that I saw on Pinterest and immediately knew I had all the pieces to recreate. Here is the original pin and my version.

See another way I wore these pants here. I wish I could link the exact pair for you. That’s the challenge for me shopping at TJMaxx. It’s a great place to score good deals but I can’t always give you the exact product link. This season though, there are a lot of rust-colored pants showing up in stores so I linked a number of options of those for you below.

I have to say, I had so much fun shooting these pictures with my husband. Didn’t he do a good job!? We had such a fun time walking around downtown and enjoying the crisp fall air! I hope you get a chance soon to take a walk outside and enjoy fall!
